¿Imaginas una playa donde la lava se convirtió en platos gigantes apilados? Ven, te cuento los secretos que los locales susurramos al mar.
Ganh Da Dia is open every day from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. It is easily reached by motorbike or taxi from Tuy Hoa (about 30 minutes). You can check routes at Vietnam Tourism.
There is currently NO entrance fee. It is a publicly accessible natural site, but some nearby services such as parking may have minimal costs (15,000-20,000 VND, around 0.60-0.80€).
A typical visit lasts 1-2 hours. You can walk along the trails, admire the basalt formations shaped like hexagonal columns, and take photos at the natural viewpoints.
Ganh Da Dia are basalt columns formed millions of years ago by volcanic eruptions. Locals call them 'the stone organ' for their unique shape. A rare geological phenomenon in Asia!
The best season is February-August (dry season). Ideal hours: at sunrise (6:00-8:00 AM) or before sunset (4:00-6:00 PM) to avoid the heat and enjoy the golden light.
The terrain is uneven with rocky paths, NOT recommended for wheelchairs. Closed, non-slip shoes are needed. There are stairs in some areas with handrails.
Nearby you can visit: Bai Xep Beach (10 min), Nhan Tower Pagoda (25 min) and Doi Duong Beach in Tuy Hoa. More info at: Phu Yen Portal.
We recommend: sunscreen, a cap, mineral water (little shade), sports shoes and a camera. Bring cash for drinks or snacks at local stalls. Avoid rainy days due to slippery surfaces!
