¿Sabías que este bullicioso rincón de las tierras altas vietnamitas esconde sabores que te harán olvidar el jet lag y secretos de vendedores que pelean por el mejor puesto?
The night market usually opens around 5:00 PM and stays lively until 10:00 PM. It is located on Le Loi Street and is very easy to reach on foot if you are in central Pleiku, or by taking a taxi or Grab.
It is completely free! You can enter and walk through all sections of the market without paying any admission fee. You only need to pay for the food or items you choose to buy.
To enjoy it without rushing, browse the stalls, and try the local food, I recommend setting aside between 1.5 and 2 hours. If you only plan to take a quick look around, 45 minutes could be enough.
This market represents the vibrant heart of Pleiku’s social and cultural life at night. It is the ideal place to observe the local rhythm, taste authentic dishes from the Central Highlands region, and feel the energy of the community.
The best time to visit Pleiku is during the dry season, from November to April, when the weather is more pleasant. As for the best hour, arrive around 6:30 PM to see the market come alive with freshly prepared food everywhere.
Because it is a traditional market, with tightly packed stalls and uneven ground, access can be difficult for people with reduced mobility. It is advisable to go with someone and keep in mind that the terrain is not perfectly flat.
You are right in the middle of everything, within walking distance of Ba Hat Park, which is ideal for a stroll after eating. You can also visit Pleiku Cathedral, a notable religious building, and you will find many shops and cafés open late in the surrounding area.
Bring cash (Vietnamese dong), as most stalls do not accept cards. Do not leave without trying bún riêu cua (crab noodle soup) or bánh xèo (Vietnamese savory pancakes)! Walk carefully and keep your belongings secure.
