La Montaña Langbiang, en las tierras altas de Dalat, es un icono natural con picos gemelos que custodian leyendas ancestrales y vistas panorámicas inolvidables sobre valles y lagos.
The mountain is open daily from approximately 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. You can reach it by taxi or motorbike from Da Lat (about 20-30 minutes), and at the base there are 4x4 jeeps that go up for 120,000 VND per vehicle (maximum 4 people). Check the official Da Lat tourism site at dalat.fpt.vn for updates.
Admission to the base costs around 50,000 VND per person, and the jeep to the main peak is extra (120,000 VND per jeep). Children pay less, and there are sometimes combined packages. Verify current prices on TripAdvisor Lang Biang.
It is recommended to set aside 2-4 hours: 30 minutes by jeep to the peak, time to walk, enjoy views and K'Ho culture. If you hike up on foot, it can take up to 6 hours round trip.
It is sacred to the K'Ho people, with the romantic legend of Lang and Biang, two lovers separated by death whose union forms the two peaks. It represents eternal love and is a spiritual site with traditional dances and music at the base.
The best time is the dry season from November to April to avoid rain. Go early in the morning for clear views and fewer tourists, before the afternoon clouds roll in.
The jeep goes close to the main peak, which makes access easier, but the final trails are steep and rocky, not suitable for wheelchairs. I recommend asking the staff at the base about adapted options.
Nearby are Tuyen Lam Lake (10 km), the Valley of Love and Linh Phuoc Pagoda. In downtown Da Lat, visit the Night Market or St. Nicholas Cathedral. Explore more at Vietnam Travel.
Bring comfortable shoes, water, sunscreen and a light jacket for the wind at the summit. Try K'Ho food at the base and book a jeep in advance on weekends. Call +84 263 3822 xxx for info (approximate base number).
