Donde las flores esconden romances imperiales, espías de guerra y secretos que hasta las orquídeas susurran
Dalat Flower Garden is open daily from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. You can get there by taxi from downtown Da Lat (about 10–15 minutes), by motorbike, or by local bus; the address is 2 Thang 4 Street. Check the map on Google Maps for precise directions.
Admission costs approximately 50,000 VND for adults (about 2 USD) and 25,000 VND for children. It is affordable and worth every dong; pay in cash since cards are not always accepted.
It is recommended to spend 1 to 2 hours exploring it comfortably and enjoying the photo opportunities. If you are passionate about flowers, you may want to stay longer to explore the themed sections.
Created in 1966, this garden is an icon of Vietnamese horticulture, with more than 300 varieties of flowers such as roses and orchids, helping build Da Lat’s reputation as the 'City of Eternal Flowers.' It represents both the French and local legacy in flower cultivation.
The best time is from December to April, when the flowers are in full bloom thanks to the cool weather. Go early in the morning to avoid crowds and enjoy the morning dew.
There are main paved paths accessible for wheelchairs, but some areas have stairs and steep hills. I recommend checking with the staff at the entrance or taking a taxi to the main gate.
Nearby you will find Xuan Huong Lake (2 km away), Crazy House, and the Da Lat Night Market. Combine them in one day for a perfect city itinerary.
Bring comfortable shoes, sunscreen, water, and a camera; the terrain is uneven in some parts. Buy fresh flowers on your way out as a souvenir and check updated reviews on TripAdvisor.
