The museum is open from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM from April to October, and until 5:00 PM from November to March. It is closed on Mondays. It is located in central Fethiye, a 5-minute walk from the harbor. To confirm opening hours, visit the museum's official website.

It is recommended to spend between 1 and 2 hours to see its main collections in detail, especially the impressive finds from ancient Telmessos and the stone artifacts.
It houses the famous Fethiye Stele (trilingual in Ancient Greek, Lycian, and Aramaic) and a unique collection of objects from Telmessos, the Lycian city that preceded Fethiye. Its finds range from the Roman period to the Ottoman era.
Spring (April-May) and autumn (September-October) are ideal because of the mild weather. If you go in summer, arrive before 10:00 AM to avoid tour groups. Avoid local holidays because of higher visitor numbers.
