Entra en una catedral submarina donde el mar pinta de azul eléctrico y los secretos antiguos susurran con la luz.
Blue Cave is open during daylight hours (approximately 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in summer). It can only be reached by boat from Kaş or Kaputaş Beach. We recommend booking a tour with local companies such as Kas Boat Rental or asking at your accommodation.
There is no entrance fee for the cave itself, but you must pay for boat transport (€15–25 per person depending on the excursion). Some tours include snorkeling and stops at other coves. Check options with Blue Voyage Turkey.
A visit lasts between 30 minutes and 1 hour if you only swim inside the cave. If you choose a full tour (with stops at nearby beaches), the excursion lasts 3–4 hours. Bring sunscreen and water!
It is famous for its fluorescent cobalt-blue waters, created by the refraction of light in crystal-clear waters 15 meters deep. It became popular when Jacques Cousteau called it "one of the ten best diving spots in the world." A unique natural phenomenon!
The ideal season is from May to October (warmer, calmer water). Early morning (9:00–11:00 a.m.) is less crowded. Avoid midday in July and August if you prefer a quieter visit. Check the weather in Kaş before you go.
The cave is only accessible by swimming or by small boats. Large boats cannot enter. If you have reduced mobility, ask operators such as Accessible Turkey about adapted tours.
In Kaş: the Roman theater, the Greek island of Kastellorizo (reachable by ferry), and Kaputaş and Patara beaches (40 min). Do not miss Kekova with its underwater ruins. More information at Go Turkey Tourism.
