Yivli Minaret is open daily from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., although as a mosque the schedule may vary for prayers. It is located in the heart of Kaleiçi, accessible on foot from the Old Harbor or by tram (Kale Kapısı stop); check the map at Visit Antalya for precise directions.

Admission to Yivli Minaret is completely free, as it is a historic site and a mosque open to the public. There are no entry fees, but a voluntary donation for its maintenance is appreciated.

It is recommended to allow between 30 and 45 minutes to explore the minaret, the mosque, and the surroundings at a relaxed pace. If you include photos and reading the plaques, it could extend to an hour.

Built in 1373 by order of Sultan Murad I, Yivli Minaret (Fluted Minaret) is an icon of Seljuk architecture with its eight decorative flutes and turquoise tiles. It represents Antalya’s Ottoman heritage and is part of the Yivli Mosque complex.

Spring (April to June) or autumn (September to November) are ideal because of the mild weather; avoid midday in summer because of the heat. At sunset it offers magical views in the golden light.
