At least 3-5 days are recommended to explore the highlights, including beaches, caves, and an island excursion, so you can enjoy the area without rushing. If you only have one day, focus on Ao Nang and Railay Beach, but an ideal week allows you to immerse yourself in nature and local culture.

Krabi has been inhabited since prehistoric times, with evidence of ancient settlements and cave petroglyphs in places such as Phraya Nakhon. Culturally, it is famous for its southern Thai heritage, shaped by the sea and limestone cliffs, and it hosts festivals such as Songkran; its importance lies in its unique biodiversity and its role as a gateway to the Andaman region.

The best period is from November to April, during the dry season, with pleasant temperatures and less rain, ideal for beaches and climbing. Avoid the monsoon season from May to October, although prices are lower; visit early in the morning to avoid crowds at popular sites.
