The temple is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm every day. It is located in Pak Phriao (Kalasin Province). You can get there by taxi from the city of Kalasin (30 min) or by using local public transport. More details at Tourism Thailand.
No, access to the temple is completely free for all visitors. However, voluntary donations are accepted for the maintenance of the site.
It is recommended to allow between 1 and 2 hours to calmly appreciate the main temple, the sacred Buddha footprint, and the surrounding areas.
It is one of the few temples in Thailand that houses a "sacred Buddha footprint" (Phra Phutthabat), a relic of great religious significance that has attracted Buddhist pilgrims since the 17th century.
From November to February (the cool season), when temperatures are lower. It is also ideal to arrive early in the morning to avoid the heat and crowds.
The main area has basic access, but some sections include stairs and uneven paths. There are currently no specialized ramps available.
