The park is open daily from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. The main entrance is through the Pha Lomsak office or the Pha Khao office. We recommend coming by private vehicle or arranging transport from Loei (approximately 60 km). More details on its official website.

Ideally, 1 full day. There are 6 main routes (from 1 km to 12 km), with the Nang Rong Waterfall and Pha Khao trails being the most popular. Bring water and comfortable footwear.

The cool season (November-February), with temperatures of 15-25°C. Avoid July-September (heavy rain and fog). Mornings are ideal for wildlife spotting.
It has limited access. Only the Pha Khao Noi viewpoint is partially accessible by car. The trails are uneven. Contact the park (+66 89 944 4848) for specific assistance.
We recommend: 1) Chiang Khan (a riverside town 50 km away), 2) Wat Neramit Wipatsana (a temple with panoramic views), and 3) Kaeng Khut Khu (Mekong rapids). More info at Tourism in Loei.
