Donde las rocas susurran secretos budistas y los murciélagos organizan fiestas nocturnas
The cave is generally open to visitors every day from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Access usually involves a short hike or climbing steep stairs through natural surroundings, so it is recommended to arrive with enough time to make the ascent at a relaxed pace before closing.
As it is a site with religious significance or located in natural reserves, there is usually a small entrance fee for foreigners (generally between 100 and 200 THB) or a donation is requested for temple maintenance. It is advisable to bring cash in the local currency (baht).
A full visit usually takes between 1 and 2 hours. This will allow you to climb to the entrance, explore the rock formations and shrines inside at a relaxed pace, and take photographs without rushing.
This cave is locally revered as a natural Buddhist sanctuary, often housing Buddha images and offerings among the stalactites. It is a place of meditation and respect where nature and Thai spirituality come together.
The best season is between November and February, when the weather is cooler and drier. The ideal time of day is early morning (around 10:00 AM), when sunlight often enters through openings in the cave ceiling, creating a mystical atmosphere.
Unfortunately, it is not accessible for wheelchairs or people with severe mobility difficulties. The terrain is uneven, there are often slippery stone steps, and the level changes are typical of a natural formation.
Depending on the exact location within the province, there are often other forest temples and nature trails nearby. You can check more attractions on the official Tourism Thailand website to plan a complete route through the region.
Bring closed, non-slip shoes, mosquito repellent, and a strong flashlight, as some areas are dark. Remember to dress respectfully (covering shoulders and knees) since it is a sacred place, and be careful with monkeys if there are any at the entrance.
