Donde cañones militares, fantasmas reales y vistas que roban el aliento se dan cita en el acantilado más curioso de Tailandia
Pattaya Viewpoint is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year. You can get there by car, motorbike, or taxi, as it is located on top of a hill with panoramic views. There are also songthaew services (shared taxis) that can take you from central Pattaya.
Admission to Pattaya Viewpoint is completely free. There are no costs to enjoy the panoramic views, although some additional services such as telescopes or souvenirs may have a price.
It is recommended to allow between 30 minutes and 1 hour to fully enjoy the views and take photos. If you plan to explore the surrounding area or visit the souvenir stalls, you may need a little more time.
Pattaya Viewpoint, also known as Khao Phra Tamnak, is famous for its panoramic views of Pattaya Bay and Koh Larn Island. Although it does not have deep historical significance, it is an iconic place for visitors seeking to capture the natural beauty of the region.
The best time to visit is at sunset, when the sky fills with color and the views are spectacular. Avoid the rainy season (May to October) if you prefer sunny days. The months from November to February offer cooler and more pleasant weather.
The main access can be a bit steep, but there are flat areas near the viewpoint that are accessible. However, there are no specific ramps or adapted facilities, so it may be challenging for people with reduced mobility.
Near Pattaya Viewpoint, you can visit Big Buddha Pattaya, the Sanctuary of Truth, and Jomtien Beach. There is also the Mini Siam Miniature Park, ideal for families.
Bring water and sun protection, as the sun can be intense. It is also recommended to bring a camera to capture the views. If you are visiting in high season, arrive early to avoid crowds. And do not forget to visit the souvenir stalls to take home a memento of your visit.
