Oasys MiniHollywood es un parque temático en el Desierto de Tabernas, Almería, que recrea un pueblo del Oeste americano. Aquí se rodaron películas emblemáticas del spaghetti western, fusionando historia del cine con un entorno natural único en Europa.
The park usually opens at 10:00 a.m., but closing days vary by season (in winter it is often open only on weekends). To avoid surprises, I strongly recommend checking the official calendar before you go.
Tickets are usually around €26 for adults and €16 for children, although prices may vary. Buying your ticket online is often cheaper and saves you from waiting in line under the sun; you can see updated prices on their ticket sales website.
Set aside a full day, or at least 5 to 6 hours. Between the cowboy show in the main square, the can-can dance, and the visit to the extensive Zoological Reserve, time flies.
It is legendary for being the filming set of Sergio Leone's Dollar Trilogy. Here, Clint Eastwood shot classics such as 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly,' turning the Tabernas Desert into the European Hollywood of the 1960s and 1970s.
Spring and autumn are ideal for avoiding the extreme desert heat. If you go in summer, arrive at 10:00 a.m. to see the animals while it is still cool, and make the most of the themed pool area during the hottest hours of the day.
The Western town has areas of compacted dirt that are passable, but there are slopes. For the Zoological Reserve area, there is a tourist train that makes access much easier for people with mobility difficulties.
You are right in the heart of the Tabernas Desert; you can visit other film sets such as Fort Bravo, Tabernas Castle, or head out to see the impressive natural landscape of the nearby dry riverbeds.
Wear very comfortable shoes (you will walk quite a bit on dirt paths), a cap, and plenty of sunscreen. Although there are restaurants inside, staying hydrated is essential in this arid climate to enjoy the experience to the fullest.
