Migjorn Beach is public and free to access 24 hours a day, every day of the year. There are no restricted hours or entrance fees, as it is a natural beach. However, we recommend visiting during the daytime to enjoy its crystal-clear waters and scenery.

Access to the beach is free, but some services such as umbrella rentals, sun loungers, or parking in nearby areas may have a cost. For example, parking in private areas can range from €5 to €10 per day. Bring cash in case you need these services.

Most visitors spend between 3 and 5 hours at the beach, depending on whether you want to relax, swim, or explore its different coves. If you plan to go kayaking or paddleboarding, you could extend your visit to half a day or more.

Migjorn Beach is famous for its natural beauty and relaxed atmosphere, typical of Formentera. Historically, it was a meeting place for the hippie community in the 1960s and 1970s, which gives it a bohemian touch. In addition, its shallow waters and white sand make it unique in the Mediterranean.

The best time to visit is between May and September, when the weather is warm and the water is at an ideal temperature. To avoid crowds, we recommend going early in the morning (before 10:00) or at sunset. July and August are the busiest months.

Yes, the beach has accessible areas, although access may vary depending on the cove. Some areas have wooden walkways and adapted services. We recommend checking with the Formentera Town Council for up-to-date accessibility information.

Near the beach, you can visit La Mola Lighthouse, the village of Sant Francesc Xavier, or Ses Salines Natural Park. There are also restaurants and beach bars such as Gecko Beach Club where you can enjoy local cuisine.

Bring sun protection, water, and some food, as there are not many services in some areas. If you go by car, arrive early to find parking. We also recommend exploring the different coves along the 4 km stretch of beach to discover quieter spots.
