Between 2 and 3 hours to enjoy swimming and the scenery. If you want to go hiking in the surrounding area or combine it with a picnic, you can spend half a day. The sunrises and sunsets here are spectacular.
It is part of the Ses Salines Natural Park, notable for its crystal-clear waters and dune ecosystem. Historically, this area was key to salt production, an activity that shaped the landscape we see today.
From May to October for swimming (25°C water). To avoid crowds and enjoy hiking, visit in May-June or September. The early morning hours are less crowded, as are sunsets.

Within 5 km you will find: 1) Ses Illetes Beach (an icon of Formentera), 2) La Savina Port (piers), 3) Estany Pudent (a bird-filled lagoon), and 4) the historic salt flats. All are connected by bike via the main cycle path.
1) Bring water and a hat (there is no natural shade), 2) Park in the marked area (free but limited), 3) Rent a bike in La Savina (the best way to get there), and 4) Respect the protected dune areas. More info at Formentera Tourism.
