La Mitjana Park is open year-round and can be accessed freely without time restrictions. It is located in the northern area of Lleida, with access from Alcalde Rovira Roure Avenue. Public transport is available (urban bus line 8). More access details on the municipal website.

Completely free! No ticket or prior reservation is required to visit this protected natural area. Visitors are only asked to respect the conservation rules during their visit.

It is recommended to spend between 2 and 3 hours exploring the main trails and observing the biodiversity. If you plan to have a picnic, go hiking, or do nature photography, you can extend your visit to half a day.

La Mitjana has been a protected nature reserve since 1979 and stands out as a Mediterranean wetland with great biodiversity. It is home to more than 200 bird species and serves as a buffer zone for the Segre River.

Spring (April-June) and autumn (September-October) are ideal thanks to mild temperatures and increased migratory bird activity. In summer, visit early in the morning or at sunset to avoid the intense heat.
