The Modern Art Gallery in Bačka Topola is open from Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and on weekends from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM (closed on Mondays). It is recommended to allow between 1 and 2 hours. The space is intimate, with two floors, but it features a rotating collection of modern Balkan art that deserves to be appreciated at a relaxed pace.

Founded in 1983, it is one of the first galleries dedicated exclusively to modern art in Vojvodina. It houses key works from the EXAT 51 Movement and postwar Yugoslav avant-garde artists, making it a cultural reference point in the region.

The months of April-May and September-October offer pleasant temperatures and fewer tourists. Avoid July-August if you prefer to stay away from the heat. During the day, Tuesday to Thursday mornings are quieter.

There is step-free access on the ground floor, but the second floor is only accessible by stairs, as it is a historic building. An adapted restroom is available. Contact them in advance at +381 24 753 3500 to discuss specific needs.

About 500 meters away you will find Stara Topola Park, ideal for a walk, and the Orthodox Church of Saint Nicholas. If you want more art, visit the Cultural Hall, a 10-minute walk away (Cultural Center).
