Admission is free, but voluntary donations for maintenance are appreciated. Some special cultural events may have symbolic fees (between €2 and €5).

Set aside between 45 minutes and 2 hours to enjoy its architecture, medieval frescoes, and the peaceful natural surroundings. If you include a picnic in the gardens, add another half hour.

Founded in 1405 by Princess Milica after the Battle of Kosovo, it is a symbol of Serbian spiritual resilience. Its 15th-century frescoes are recognized as Cultural Heritage of great value.

Spring (April-June) and autumn (September-October) offer mild temperatures and colorful landscapes. Avoid July and August if you prefer fewer tourists. Early mornings are ideal for photography.
