The length of your visit can vary greatly depending on your interests. If you just want to walk along the sand and admire the scenery, 1 or 2 hours will be enough. If you are a surfer or want to spend the day at the beach, you can easily devote 4 to 6 hours or even the whole day.

Supertubos Beach is world-famous for its perfect tubular waves, which have made it one of the venues for the World Surf League Championship. It is a legendary spot for surfers and an impressive spectacle for visitors, both because of its raw natural power and the beauty of its waves.

For surfers, the best time is usually from autumn to spring, when the waves are more consistent and larger. For tourists looking for good weather and sunshine, summer (June to September) is ideal. To avoid the crowds, we recommend visiting early in the morning or at sunset, when the light is also magical.

Access to the sand at Supertubos Beach can be a bit difficult for people with reduced mobility because of the dunes and soft sand. However, there is a boardwalk that offers good views and is more accessible.
