Guido (1855-1928) was a pioneer in the industrialization of Silesia. Today it is a unique museum displaying original equipment and mining life. It was designated a Historic Monument of Poland in 2017.
It is ideal in summer (June-August), when outside temperatures are high, since the mine stays at +15°C all year round. Avoid weekends if you prefer fewer crowds.
Only partially accessible: it requires descending 380 steps to the 320-meter level. There is no elevator. Check specific conditions at +48 32 271 40 77.
We recommend: the Mining Museum in Luisina (15 km), the Osówka Complex (Nazi bunkers, 75 km), and Gliwice Castle (10 km). More information at Silesia Tourism.
