Donde las piedras susurran historias de caballeros, vodka escondido y una campana fantasma
The church is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; it is closed on Mondays. You can easily reach it on foot from central Konin or by local bus; check the map on the official Konin tourism website for precise directions.
Admission is free for all visitors. Voluntary donations are accepted in the box at the entrance to help with the preservation of the church.
It is recommended to allow between 30 and 45 minutes for a complete visit, including admiring the Gothic interiors and the tower. If you are interested in detailed history, you could extend it to an hour.
Built in the 14th century in the Gothic style, it is one of the oldest religious buildings in Konin and an outstanding example of medieval Polish architecture. It has witnessed local historical events and houses valuable sacred works of art.
The best time is during spring or summer (May to September), preferably in the morning to avoid crowds and enjoy the best natural light through the stained glass windows. Avoid Sunday Mass hours if you are looking for peace and quiet.
The main entrance has several steps, making it not very accessible for wheelchairs; there is no ramp available. Contact the parish by phone (+48 63 243 20 45) for possible special arrangements.
A few minutes away on foot you will find the Konin Museum and the Municipal Park. Do not miss nearby Rychwaldzkie Lake for a relaxing walk; more information is available at Konin tourism.
Dress modestly out of respect for the sacred place, wear comfortable shoes if you plan to climb the tower, and download an audio guide to enrich the experience. Check for special events on the parish website or call ahead.
