The Clock Tower is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. It is easy to reach on foot from the main Market Square. You can confirm opening hours on the official tourism portal.
General admission costs about 10 PLN (around €2.50), with discounts for students and groups. Children under 7 enter free. Cards are not accepted, so bring cash in Polish zloty.
A full visit takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes. It includes climbing the 150 steps to the upper viewpoint and exploring the historical exhibitions inside about the defense of Przemyśl.
Built in the 18th century on top of a medieval gate, it formed part of the city's Austro-Hungarian defenses. Its original mechanical clock from 1754 still works and is considered one of the most precise in Poland.
Weekday mornings in spring or autumn offer fewer crowds. Summer sunsets are spectacular from the viewpoint, but lines do form. Avoid Mondays, when it is closed.
Unfortunately, it does not have an elevator, and the steps are narrow and steep. There is only partial access to the ground floor exhibitions. For specific details, contact +48 16 675 16 75.
Less than a 5-minute walk away, you will find Przemyśl Cathedral Basilica, the Bell Museum (unique in Europe), and the picturesque townhouses of the Market Square. The Tourist Office offers free maps.
Wear comfortable shoes for the stairs, and bring water in summer. The Carpathians can be seen from the upper viewpoint, so bring binoculars if you have them. Combine your ticket with the nearby Clock Museum for discounted combined admission.
