Rather than being a historic monument, it is an important social meeting point in the city, located on historic Łuczkowski Square. It represents modern Polish beer culture and is an excellent place to observe the daily life of Chełm’s residents.

The best time is at sunset or in the evening, especially on weekends, when the atmosphere is livelier. If you are looking for a quieter time to talk, the first hours after opening in the afternoon are ideal.

As it is in the Old Town, outdoor access may depend on the square’s cobblestones, although the main entrance is usually at street level. We recommend contacting the venue directly or checking on site, as restrooms in older buildings are not always adapted.

You are in the perfect spot; right next door are the famous Chełm Chalk Tunnels, a must-see attraction. You can also visit the beautiful Basilica of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary just a few minutes away on foot.

Do not limit yourself to the commercial brands; ask the staff about any regional or craft beers they have on rotation. Also, although they usually accept cards, it is always a good idea to carry some cash (złoty) just in case there are problems with the card terminal.
