Entra en la sala barroca más opulenta de Wrocław, donde emperadores, jesuitas y un reloj de arena guardan secretos que ni los bombardeos nazis pudieron borrar.
Aula Leopoldina is generally open Monday to Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, but hours may vary by season or academic events. We recommend checking the current schedule on the official website before your visit. It is located in the main building of the University of Wrocław (University Square 1).
General admission costs 20 PLN (about €4.70). Students and visitors over 65 pay 15 PLN. Children under 7 enter free. The ticket includes access to the Mathematical Tower. You can buy tickets on site or online.
It is recommended to spend between 30 and 45 minutes appreciating its Baroque details, frescoes, and the exhibition on its history. If you also include the Mathematical Tower and other areas of the university museum, allow about 1.5 hours.
It is the Baroque jewel of the University of Wrocław (1702), used for centuries for academic ceremonies. Its frescoes glorify Habsburg patronage and symbolize the union between science and faith. It survived the Second World War intact.
Weekday mornings (before 11:00 AM) are the quietest. July and August are peak season. Avoid weekends and the days following graduation ceremonies.
Access is limited due to its historic architecture. There are stairs at the main entrance. Contact +48 71 343 01 75 in advance to request assistance for wheelchairs or reduced mobility.
Within less than 5 minutes you have: the Mathematical Tower (panoramic views), the Ossolineum (Baroque library), and the Market Square with the Town Hall. We also recommend crossing the Penitents' Bridge toward Cathedral Island.
1) Buy tickets online to save time in line. 2) Use the Spanish audio guide (available on site). 3) Look at the ceiling fresco where Minerva protects the sciences. 4) Combine your visit with the climb to the Mathematical Tower for the best photos of Wrocław.
