El Puente de los Suspiros, ubicado en Lurín, Perú, es un puente colgante que cruza el río Lurín ofreciendo vistas espectaculares del valle. Ideal para caminatas reflexivas y conexión con la naturaleza andina.
The bridge is a public space with free access at all times. We recommend visiting during daylight hours (between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm) for greater safety and better visibility. No reservations or tickets are required.
No, access is completely free. It is a public heritage site that forms part of Lurin’s urban landscape. You can visit it freely at any time of day.
The visit to the bridge itself takes about 15–20 minutes, although we recommend allowing 1 hour if you want to take photos, walk around the surrounding area, and enjoy the traditional atmosphere of the town of Lurin.
This traditional colonial-style bridge is a symbol of Lurin and part of its cultural identity. It is believed to date from the 19th century, and its wooden architecture links it to the old estates of the valley.
The dry season (April to October) is ideal. Avoid the rainy season (December to March). As for the time of day, sunset offers the best photographic views with warm light over the landscape.
The area has some limitations: the surface is uneven and the bridge has steps. Assistance is recommended for wheelchairs. The nearby promenade is more accessible for all visitors.
Very close by is the Pachacamac Archaeological Sanctuary (10 minutes away) and Lurin’s Main Square with its colonial church. Local vineyards and traditional food restaurants are also highlights.
Wear comfortable shoes, bring water, and use sun protection. Sundays are busier in the area. Combine your visit with the local market (mornings) to enjoy the cultural experience more fully. More useful information at: Peru Tourism - Lurin
