The Witches' Park in Cachiche is a public space open 24 hours a day, although it is recommended to visit between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM to find guides and shops open. To get there, you can take a taxi from the Plaza de Armas of Ica; the ride takes just 10 to 15 minutes.

Entry to the themed park is generally free, although it is customary to leave a voluntary tip for the local guides who explain the legends. At certain specific spots, such as the Seven-Headed Palm Tree, a symbolic contribution is usually requested for maintenance.

The visit is short but intense; with 45 minutes to 1 hour you will have enough time to see the statues, view the famous palm tree and listen to the stories. It is a perfect, quick stop within your itinerary through Ica.

This place was a refuge for women with knowledge of herbalism and folk healing who were persecuted by the Inquisition, most notably the famous witch Julia Hernández Pecho. The park celebrates this mystical and esoteric legacy that has made Cachiche a town synonymous with witchcraft in Peru.

Ica is sunny all year round, but I recommend going early in the morning or at sunset to avoid the stifling midday heat. The sunset light adds a touch of mystery that is ideal for photographing the statue of the Witch and the pyramid.

The terrain is mostly flat and made of compact earth, which allows for movement, although it does not have modern paving in all areas. A person in a wheelchair can access it, preferably with a companion to help on stretches of loose earth.

You are in a strategic location, just 15 minutes from the famous oasis of Huacachina. You are also very close to traditional pisco wineries and the Sanctuary of the Lord of Luren in the city center.
