Lucice Beach is a public beach, so it is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can easily reach it on foot from the center of Petrovac (about 15–20 minutes) or by car, where paid parking is available. There is no official opening or closing time as such. Access to Lucice Beach is completely free. It is a public beach and no entrance fee is charged. However, if you want to use sun loungers and umbrellas, these come at an additional cost that varies depending on the beach service provider.

To fully enjoy Lucice Beach, we recommend setting aside at least half a day, around 3 to 5 hours. This will allow you to relax, swim in its crystal-clear waters, sunbathe, and perhaps enjoy some of the available water activities.

Beyond its natural beauty, Lucice Beach does not have an ancient history or a particularly deep cultural significance. Its charm lies in its natural setting, with fine sand and turquoise waters surrounded by abundant vegetation. It is mainly known for being one of the most beautiful beaches on the Montenegrin coast.

The best time to visit Lucice Beach and avoid large crowds is during the shoulder season (May, early June, and September). If you visit in summer, we recommend going early in the morning (before 10:00 AM) or late in the afternoon (after 4:00 PM) to enjoy a quieter atmosphere. The weather is ideal from June to September.

Access to Lucice Beach can be a bit challenging for people with reduced mobility. Although the main path is paved, there are some slopes and steps to reach the sand and the water. There are no specific facilities designed for this purpose, such as ramps or walkways. It is advisable to check the situation directly if you have special needs.

Near Lucice Beach, in Petrovac, you can visit Petrovac Fortress for spectacular views, take a walk along the charming seafront promenade, or explore the small islands of Katic and Sveta Nedjelja on a short boat trip. The nearby Buljarica Beach is also an excellent option for nature lovers.

For the best experience, I recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses, as there is little natural shade. If you plan to spend the day, also bring water and some snacks. Although there are a few beach bars, the selection is limited. Don’t forget your camera to capture the beautiful scenery, and if you enjoy diving, bring your gear—the waters are crystal clear!
