Spring (April-May) and autumn (September-October) are the best seasons thanks to the mild weather and smaller crowds. As for the best time of day, I recommend going up early in the morning (right when it opens) or late in the afternoon, before closing, to avoid the intense midday heat and enjoy spectacular light for your photos.

Unfortunately, access to the Kotor City Walls is very limited for people with reduced mobility. There are many steps, uneven surfaces, and steep slopes. It is not a route suitable for wheelchairs. The lower part of the old town is more accessible.

Kotor is full of gems! After the walls, don’t miss Saint Tryphon Cathedral, the Maritime Museum, and simply getting lost in the charming lanes of the Old Town. You can also take a boat trip to Our Lady of the Rocks on the nearby islet by Perast.
