The course generally operates from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Tuesday through Sunday. Although it is a private club, guests of the Avándaro Hotel usually have preferred access, and outside visitors are sometimes allowed with advance reservation.

The green fee varies depending on whether it is a weekday or weekend, typically ranging from MXN 1,500 to MXN 3,500. This price usually includes the right to play 18 holes, but the golf cart and caddie are paid separately.

To enjoy the 18 holes at a relaxed pace, we recommend setting aside between 4 and 5 hours. If you only plan to practice on the driving range or play 9 holes, 2 and a half hours will be enough for a full experience.

Designed by the legendary Percy Clifford, this course opened in the 1950s and was a pioneer in the area, helping drive tourism in Valle de Bravo. Its layout through pine forests makes it one of the most iconic and challenging courses in Mexico.

The best season is from November to May to avoid the rains; however, playing early in the morning, around 8:00 AM, will reward you with spectacular views as the mist rises among the trees and with cool weather ideal for the sport.

The clubhouse and restaurant have entrances and ramps for people with reduced mobility. However, access to the course itself is limited by the nature of the terrain, although the use of golf carts makes it easier to get around the paths.

You are in a privileged location; very close by you will find the famous Bridal Veil Waterfall for a nature walk. You can also head down to the town of Valle de Bravo, about a 10 to 15 minute drive away, to enjoy the lake and the main square.

It is essential to respect the dress code, including a collared shirt and golf trousers, so that you are not denied entry. I suggest booking your tee time at least one week in advance, especially if you plan to visit on a weekend.
