As a public beach, it is open 24 hours a day year-round. To get there from Loreto, take the scenic road toward Nopoló for about 20 km (around 25 minutes by car); a 4x4 vehicle is recommended for the last stretch of dirt road. Check the interactive map for precise directions.

The beach is completely free, as it is a public area within Loreto Bay National Park. There are no entrance fees or parking charges, although you may need to pay for extra services such as snorkeling tours if you book them.

A typical visit lasts 2 to 4 hours, ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and relaxing. If you plan a picnic or want to explore more, you can extend it to a half day.

Juncalito Beach is part of Loreto Bay National Park, created in 1996 to protect its unique marine ecosystem with crystal-clear waters and wildlife. It is a key site for biodiversity in Baja California Sur, frequented by birds and sea turtles, and appreciated by locals and visitors for its natural beauty.

The best time is from November to May, when the weather is cooler (20–30°C) and there is less risk of hurricanes. Go early in the morning or at sunset to avoid the heat and enjoy the best light for photos and snorkeling.

The main access is via a dirt road, and the beach has fine sand, which makes it challenging for wheelchairs or visitors with reduced mobility without assistance. There are no specific adapted facilities, so checking with local accessible tour operators is recommended.
