The Cable Car is open from 9:30 am to 7:00 pm Sunday to Thursday, and until 8:00 pm on Fridays, Saturdays and public holidays. You can get there by taxi or car from the main town (Kuah) in about 30 minutes. Always check the latest schedule on their official website before your visit.

Adult tickets (ages 12+) cost 85 MYR (~18 USD) and children's tickets (ages 3-11) cost 60 MYR (~13 USD), including access to the SkyGlide and the SkyBridge. Discounts are available for Malaysian residents and combo packages with other Oriental Village attractions.

The full visit takes 2-3 hours: 15-20 minutes per cable car ride, +45 minutes on the SkyBridge, and extra time for photos and viewpoints (Top Station and Middle Station). Allow for possible queues during high season.

It is one of the steepest cable cars in the world (42° angle), with unique views of the Langkawi archipelago, the Andaman Sea and the rainforest of the UNESCO Global Geopark. Its top station (Mount Mat Cincang) reaches 708 metres above sea level.

Visit between November and April (dry season) for clear skies. Arrive early (9:30 am) or after 4:00 pm to avoid crowds. Check the weather beforehand, as the SkyBridge closes in bad weather on this website!

At the Oriental Village (the base of the cable car) you'll find restaurants and shops. 5-10 minutes away: Telaga Tujuh Waterfalls and Pantai Cenang (beach). 30 minutes away: Galeria Perdana and Mahsuri's Tomb.
