Access to the church is free. However, some special areas or events may require admission. Donations for maintenance are welcome.

We recommend allowing between 30 and 45 minutes to appreciate the interior, the frescoes, and the panoramic views. If you include photos and time for contemplation, you may need up to 1 hour.

This 13th-century church is famous for its Norman-Sicilian style and for housing the painting of the Virgin of the Assumption. In addition, Savoca was one of the key villages where 'The Godfather' was filmed, which adds to its cultural interest. More details at Visit Sicily.

Spring (April-June) and autumn (September-October) are ideal because of the mild temperatures and fewer tourists. Avoid July-August due to intense heat and crowds.
