For the visit to the Natural Arch itself, about 15 to 30 minutes are enough to admire it and take photographs. However, we recommend allowing at least 1 to 2 hours to enjoy the walk there, especially if you are coming from the center of Capri, as the trail offers impressive panoramic views.

The Natural Arch is a unique geological formation, slowly sculpted by wind and sea erosion over thousands of years. Its main significance lies in its natural beauty and in being a testament to the unstoppable force of nature. Although it does not have a complex human history, it is a landscape icon of Capri.

Spring (April to May) and early autumn (September to October) are the best times to visit Capri and the Natural Arch, thanks to the pleasant weather and smaller crowds. Unfortunately, access to the Natural Arch is not suitable for people with reduced mobility or wheelchairs. The trail leading to it includes stairs, uneven sections, and steep slopes, which make access significantly difficult. Walking on natural terrain is required.

Very close to the Natural Arch, you can continue your walk along the panoramic Via Pizzolungo trail, which offers spectacular views of the coast and the Faraglioni. You can also visit the Grotta di Matromania, an ancient cave, or go down to Marina Piccola for a swim, although this will require a longer walk or a taxi.

We recommend wearing comfortable shoes, preferably trainers, as the trail involves walking and steps. Bring water, especially in the warmer months, and do not forget your camera to capture the views.
