Inch Beach is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, as it is a public beach. You can easily get there by car via the N86 from Dingle, a journey of about 15–20 minutes; free parking is available on site. For more details, see the official Dingle website.

Entry to Inch Beach is completely free, with no access or parking fees. You will only pay if you rent surfing equipment or use additional services in the area.

It is recommended to spend at least 1–2 hours walking along the beach and enjoying the views, but you can extend it to half a day if you go surfing or have a picnic. It is ideal for a relaxed visit without rushing.

Inch Beach is famous for its dune landscape and wide stretch of sand, and it was used as a filming location in the 1970 movie 'Ryan's Daughter,' which gives it a cinematic appeal. It is part of the natural heritage of the Dingle Peninsula, protected for its scenic beauty.

The best time is in summer (June–August) for good weather, or at sunset at any time of year for spectacular views. Avoid windy winter days if you are looking for calm conditions; check the forecast at Met Éireann.

The parking area is close to the beach, but the main access crosses loose sand dunes, which makes it difficult for standard wheelchairs. There are partially accessible routes on the north side; contact the Dingle visitor centre at +353 66 915 1188 for adapted options.
