Hindu temples in Guyana generally open for daily worship from dawn to dusk, with the best times to visit between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM or during the evening Aarti. Entry to the temple is completely free, as it is an active place of worship and spirituality open to everyone. However, it is customary and appreciated to leave a small donation (dakshina) in the designated boxes to help support the upkeep of the grounds and its community activities.

A standard visit usually lasts between 30 and 45 minutes, which is enough time to admire the architecture, observe the deities, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. If you would like to meditate or speak with the Pandit (priest) about the philosophy of the place, we suggest allowing at least one hour.

Like many traditional temples, the main structure is usually raised above ground level and has stairs, which can make wheelchair access difficult without assistance. It is recommended to go with a companion to help manage the initial changes in level leading to the main prayer hall.
