Unfortunately, Saint Nicholas Anapausas Monastery, like most of the monasteries of Meteora, is not fully accessible for people with reduced mobility or wheelchairs. Entry involves climbing a series of steps, and the interiors may have uneven levels. It is important to keep this in mind when planning your visit.

In Meteora there are many other impressive monasteries you can visit, such as the Great Meteoron Monastery, Varlaam, or Roussanou, each with its own unique charm. I also recommend exploring the town of Kalabaka and Kastraki, where you will find shops, restaurants, and excellent views of the rock formations. The hiking trails in the surrounding area are also fantastic.

I suggest wearing comfortable walking shoes and bringing water, sun protection, and a hat, especially in summer. Remember that proper clothing is required to enter the monasteries (shoulders and knees covered); wraps are often available at the entrance if needed.
