The monastery is open from 9:00 to 13:30 and from 15:30 to 17:30 in summer (April-October). In winter (November-March) it closes earlier. Closed on Tuesdays. Check exact hours at visitmeteora.travel.
General admission costs €3. Tickets are purchased directly at the monastery ticket office (cash only). Students and visitors over 65 pay a reduced rate of €2.
It is recommended to allow 1-2 hours to explore the monastery, its chapels, and enjoy the panoramic views of Kalambaka and the Meteora rocks.

Spring (April-June) and autumn (September-October) for mild weather and fewer tourists. Avoid July-August because of the heat and crowds. Early mornings are ideal for photos.
It is one of the most accessible monasteries in Meteora thanks to a flat entrance bridge (without the steep stairs found at others). There are some interior areas with steps where assistance may be needed.
