Access to the island and the fortress is completely free; you only need to pay for the connecting boat ticket if you are not arriving in your own vessel. It is a very affordable way to enjoy history and nature in a unique setting.

Wear comfortable, closed shoes, as you will be walking on uneven historic ground, and do not forget a windproof jacket even in summer. Although services are sometimes available, bringing your own food for a picnic on the old ramparts is an unforgettable experience.
