We recommend allowing 45-60 minutes to explore the interior with its medieval frescoes, the historic cemetery, and the surrounding rural setting of wood and natural stone.
Built in the 15th century, it is one of the best-preserved medieval churches in Finland. It stands out for its original frescoes and Gothic architecture, and is an icon of the Catholic period before the Protestant Reformation.

It has steps at the entrance and uneven ground in the cemetery. There are no ramps or adapted restrooms. We recommend visiting with a companion if assistance is needed.
