Saladin's Castle is open every day from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We recommend arriving early to avoid the midday heat. No prior reservation is required for individual visits.

A complete visit takes between 60-90 minutes. It includes touring the walls, watchtowers, and historic areas. Wear comfortable shoes due to the uneven terrain.
Built in 1183 by Saladin as a Crusader fortress, it protected the trade route between Egypt and Syria. Its strategic position on hills offers unique views of the Gulf of Aqaba.
From October to April, with temperatures between 20-28°C. Avoid July-August due to extreme heat (up to 40°C). Early hours are ideal for photos with better light.
It is not recommended for wheelchairs due to steep stairs and rocky terrain. There are narrow paths and uneven steps in the historic areas.
15 minutes away is Pharaoh's Island (Coral Island) for snorkeling. You can also visit the Taba Fjord (a unique geological formation) and Saint Catherine's Monastery (2 hours by car).
Bring water, sunscreen, and a hat. Wear closed shoes with good traction. Hire a local guide (available at the entrance) to better appreciate the historical experience.
