Tours usually operate daily every two hours, from around 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Boarding generally takes place from the pier at the Sindbad Club on the tourist promenade (Mamsha), located in the heart of Hurghada.

The price is around €35 to €50 per adult and about €25 for children, depending on the tour operator or whether hotel transfer is included. It is advisable to book in advance to secure your place, as capacity is limited to 44 passengers.

The full excursion usually lasts about 3 hours, including transfers and the approach boat. The actual underwater dive lasts approximately 50 minutes, enough time to enjoy the marine life at a depth of 22 meters.

The difference is complete: Sinbad is the only real submarine in the area that fully submerges, allowing you to see the reefs through side portholes. It is not a semi-submersible boat; here you truly descend into the depths of the Red Sea.

I recommend the morning departures (between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM), as that is when sunlight penetrates the water best, enhancing the colors of the corals. As for the season, the Red Sea is spectacular all year round, but spring and autumn have more pleasant temperatures.

Unfortunately, access to the inside of the submarine is through a hatch with a vertical ladder, so it is not suitable for wheelchairs. Some mobility is required to go down and climb back up the entrance ladder.

You are right in the tourist area of Mamsha, full of cafés and shops. A few minutes away by taxi, you can visit the beautiful Al Mina Mosque or stroll through the modern Hurghada Marina for dinner at sunset.

Wear comfortable clothing and avoid using flash in your photos, as it will bounce off the window glass; it is better to place the lens against the glass. If you suffer from severe claustrophobia, think twice, although the cabin is spacious and air-conditioned.
