Mangroovy Beach is open every day from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. You can get there by taxi from central El Gouna (15 minutes) or rent a bicycle. For the exact location: View on Google Maps.

Is access to Mangroovy Beach free?

General entry is free, but certain VIP areas with sun loungers and umbrellas have a fee (from 150 EGP, about €5). Activities such as kayaking are charged separately. Check updated rates on the official website.

How much time should I plan for the visit?

We recommend at least 3 to 4 hours to enjoy the beach, snorkel around the mangroves, and have a drink at the beach club. If you practice water sports, allow half a day.

Why are the mangroves on this beach important?

It is one of the few mangrove ecosystems in the Red Sea. These trees filter the water, protect the coast, and provide shelter for migratory birds and juvenile fish. More about their ecological value.

When is the best time to visit?

Avoid July and August because of the extreme heat. The ideal period is October to April, with temperatures of 25 to 30°C. The best time of day is before 11 AM or after 4 PM to avoid the strongest sun.

Is it wheelchair accessible?

It has basic access, but the ground is uneven in the mangrove areas. The beach club has ramps and adapted bathrooms. We recommend contacting them in advance: +20 111 555 2018.
