Audio Guide of Dubrova Forest Park in Rabac

Dubrova Sculpture Park is an open-air museum that is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It is located next to the main road connecting Rijeka and Pula, just before entering the town of Labin, and has free parking at the entrance.

Admission to Dubrova Forest Park is completely free for all visitors. You can freely explore more than 70 stone sculptures and enjoy art in nature at no cost, thanks to the management of the Mediterranean Sculpture Symposium.

A relaxed visit usually lasts between 45 minutes and an hour and a half. This is enough time to walk along the famous 'White Road' (Bijela cesta), admire the monumental sculptures, and enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings.

This park is the result of the Mediterranean Sculpture Symposium, started in 1969, and has become one of Croatia's most important artistic sculpture parks. Its most iconic features are the use of Istrian stone and the collaboration of renowned international artists over the decades.

Spring and autumn are ideal because of the mild temperatures and the colors of the vegetation contrasting with the white stone. For photography lovers, the 'golden hour' before sunset offers spectacular lighting on the sculptures.

Much of the park is accessible, with relatively flat gravel and grass paths, although some areas may be uneven. The famous 'White Road' is passable, making the walk easier for families with strollers and most wheelchair users.

The park is located very close to the charming old town of Labin, famous for its mining history and art galleries. You can also drive down to the coast of Rabac in about 10–15 minutes to enjoy its crystal-clear beaches.

Wear comfortable shoes, as you will be walking on dirt and stone, and don’t forget your camera to capture the unique textures of the artworks. If you have time, it is a perfect place for a peaceful picnic in the shade of the trees surrounded by art.
