Bridal Veil Falls is open Monday through Sunday. The usual hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although they may vary. The name 'Bridal Veil Falls' comes from a moving local legend. It is said that a young couple in love, about to be married, was tragically forced apart. The bride, devastated, threw herself from the waterfall. The legend not only gives the place its name, but also gives it a romantic and mysterious aura that attracts many curious visitors.

The best time to visit Bridal Veil Falls is during Costa Rica's dry season, from December to April, when the weather is sunnier and rainfall is less frequent, allowing for better visibility and access. However, the waterfall has a stronger flow during the rainy season, from May to November, making it even more impressive. To avoid crowds, we suggest visiting early in the morning.

The main view of Bridal Veil Falls can be enjoyed from the road and nearby viewpoints, making access easier for people with reduced mobility without the need to walk difficult trails. However, to get very close to the base of the waterfall, the terrain may be uneven and not fully adapted for wheelchairs. We recommend caution and planning ahead.
