Donde las manos de los artesanos escriben historias en madera y arcilla mientras el aroma de café lo pone a bailar
The Artisan Park is open from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm every day. It is located on 4 West Avenue, near the Cross Viewpoint. You can get there by taxi, public transport (routes that pass through downtown), or on foot from central locations (20–25 min from Cayzedo Plaza).
No, admission is completely free. Costs only apply if you decide to buy handicrafts or food at the local stalls. Many artisans accept both cash and cards.
We recommend setting aside between 1 and 2 hours to explore all the stalls, enjoy the panoramic views of Cali, and take photos. If you want to interact with artisans or make several purchases, allow extra time.
It is a symbol of Cali’s identity, where local artisans have preserved traditional techniques from Valle del Cauca since 1992. Notable products include Arhuaco backpacks, Guapi-style ceramics, and tagua jewelry (known as 'vegetable ivory').
Mornings (10 am to 12 pm) are ideal to avoid crowds and intense heat. On weekdays you will find fewer people than on weekends. Avoid the hours after midday during the dry season (December–March) because of high temperatures.
The park has some areas with steps and steep slopes. While there are accessible sections, moving around in a wheelchair without assistance can be difficult. We recommend the Tourism Without Limits Program from the city government for specific support.
Take the opportunity to visit the Cross Viewpoint (5 min walk), Cayzedo Plaza, and the Cali Zoo. All these places are within a maximum radius of 3 km.
Bring sunscreen and a hat, as there is little natural shade. Wear comfortable shoes for walking on uneven ground. Bring cash in Colombian pesos to bargain with artisans, and do not forget water to stay hydrated.
