Las Lajas Sanctuary is generally open from 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM, although Mass times may vary. It is recommended to check the schedule on the official website or directly upon arrival. To get there, you can take a taxi or a shared minibus from Ipiales that will drop you right at the entrance.

The good news is that entry to Las Lajas Sanctuary is completely free! However, keep in mind that there may be costs if you want to visit the museum or use the cable car services to reach the sanctuary while enjoying spectacular views.

To fully enjoy the sanctuary, including its architecture, natural surroundings, and perhaps attending a Mass, we recommend setting aside 2 to 3 hours. If you plan to use the cable car or visit the museum, add an extra hour.
