The palace is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (last entry at 5:00 PM), and closed on Mondays. It is easily reached by bus number 409 from central Varna (about 20–30 minutes) or by taxi; free parking is available. More details on the official website.

Allow 1–2 hours for the guided palace tour and a walk through the gardens. If you explore the nearby vineyards, add another 30–45 minutes. It is ideal for a relaxed morning or afternoon.

Built between 1882 and 1893 as the summer residence of Prince Alexander of Battenberg, it was later used by the Bulgarian tsars Ferdinand and Boris III. Today it is a museum reflecting Balkan Renaissance architecture and Bulgarian royal history, surrounded by unique botanical gardens.

Spring (May–June) or autumn (September–October) are best to avoid the summer heat and enjoy vibrant flowers and colors. At sunset in summer, it offers magical views of the Black Sea; avoid weekends if you prefer fewer crowds.
