Felix Beach is open 24 hours a day, as it is a protected natural area, but it is recommended to visit during daylight for greater safety. The main access is via a trail of about 1 hour from Highway SP-055 (km 80), near Ubatuba; you can arrive by car and park at the start of the trail or join a guided tour. Entry to Felix Beach is completely free, as it is part of Brazil's public natural areas. There is no charge for access, but if you go by vehicle, consider informal parking costs at the start of the trail (around R$10-20). Check the São Paulo tourism portal for possible seasonal updates.

It is recommended to allow at least 3-4 hours for the full visit, including the round-trip hike on the trail (1 hour each way) and 1-2 hours enjoying the beach and surroundings. If you are an experienced hiker, you could extend it to half a day to explore more of the surrounding area.

Felix Beach is one of the hidden gems of the Atlantic Forest in Ubatuba, named in honor of a local fisherman and known for its biodiversity and crystal-clear waters that attract nature lovers. It is part of Serra do Mar State Park, highlighting its role in the environmental and cultural conservation of the region's traditional caiçara communities.

The best time is during the dry season from April to October, when there is less rain and the trail is more accessible; avoid the rainy summer months (December-March) for greater comfort. Go early in the morning to enjoy fewer crowds and calmer waters, ideally between 8 and 11 a.m.

Unfortunately, the beach is not accessible for people with reduced mobility because of the steep trail and uneven terrain, which requires good physical condition. Near Felix Beach, you can visit Felix Grande Beach, which is wider and also accessible by trail, or Projeto Tamar in Ubatuba, a sea turtle conservation center about 20 km away. Other options include Renata Waterfall, a nearby waterfall ideal for a full day in nature.

Bring insect repellent, sunscreen, plenty of water, and comfortable shoes for the trail, as there are no facilities on the beach; respect the environment by avoiding plastics.
