As a public beach, access is open 24 hours a day, although visiting during daylight is recommended. You can get there by car along a dirt road from Trancoso or Caraíva, or hire a boat transfer; to find your bearings, check the exact location on Google Maps.

Access to the sand is completely free, but if you arrive by car you will have to pay for private parking (usually at the Outeiro das Brisas condominium), which costs around 20-40 reais. Keep in mind that beach clubs often require a high minimum spend to use their facilities.

To enjoy the full experience, I suggest dedicating an entire day (or at least 5 hours). This will let you enjoy the changing tides, see the natural pools and have a relaxed lunch at one of the beach restaurants.

It is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil thanks to its cliffs and coral reefs. Its name comes from the optical effect created when the tide goes out: the water stays still and calm, reflecting the sky and the cliffs like a perfect mirror.

The secret is to go strictly during **low tide**, preferably on full or new moon days (spring tides). If you go at high tide, you won't see the natural pools; always check the regional tide table before going.

Yes, access is challenging since it involves going down steep staircases from the cliffs or walking across stretches of soft sand. Unfortunately, the infrastructure is not fully adapted for wheelchairs without considerable assistance.

You can walk to the left to find the quiet **Praia dos Amores** (often deserted) or plan your route to visit the charming neighbouring villages of **Trancoso** (to the north) and **Caraíva** (to the south).

Bring cash, since the internet signal is unreliable and card machines may fail. Also, arrive early (before 9:00 AM) to secure parking and enjoy the beach before the large tour groups arrive.
