While there are parking lots nearby and some restaurants offer ramps, direct access to the sand can be complicated due to the topography of the beach and the dunes. There are no special access walkways down to the shoreline at most points. It is advisable to go accompanied and to ask at the local kiosks or restaurants about the best options for access.

Very close to Joaquina Beach, you can explore Mole Beach, another beach very popular among young people and surfers. There is also Lagoa da Conceição, with its bars, restaurants, nightlife and water sports options. Don't miss the Lagoa viewpoint, which offers spectacular panoramic views.
